These tires roll faster than I thought(they felt like a road tire even though they are 45mm). They literally felt like a slick with the protection of a touring tire.
I averaged 16 mph on the flats while carrying a fully loaded bike.
I used them for my gravel bike on a multi day bike tour and I absolutely love them.
The puncture protection is better than I thought, the sidewall protection is phenomenal, I had zero punctures.
I used them on all types of surfaces; from gravel, sand, small rocks, paved streets to unpaved roads, the tires absorbed all sorts of uneven surfaces you can imagine.
They are totally worth the money.

Looks great once mounted, but they are DIFFICULT to mount like the Conti GP5K's. You need two
Challenge tire levers and a soapy sponge. Once mounted (finally) to get the bead to seat, use soap
around the rim walls AND a high pressure tubeless tire inflator at 180 PSI. This forces the beads to seat!
You may need to deflate, reapply soapy water on the tire rims again, and they WILL seat!
I'm running these tubeless, they hold air for weeks, very happy so far. The ride is not as supple as the Conti GP5K or the Vittoria's though. I bought them on impulse, so far about 100 miles. I'm using Challenge tubeless fluid, which works well with the Conti's, Challenge and Schwalbe tubeless tires.
Good Luck!

I converted a 1993 TREK 930 to a 1X9 and replaced the tires with Schwalbe Billy Bonkers 26X2.1 and chose these tubes. Been riding the TREK a lot since March (2025) and have had no flats or any other issues. At the end of the day these are good tubes, and I like the clear plastic valve caps too. Plus I encourage you to ride or convert a 26" old-school MTB, because 26" tires are still relevant, fast, and fun.

I have a VERY heavy E-bike (75 lb) that I ride for both commuting and pleasure/exercise riding. The bike came with very aggressive knobby tires. I replaced these and immediately loved how quiet they run. They also have boosted my average speed by about 3 mph. Wear seems to be solid as well. I live in Utah where goats head thorns are a constant threat and have had zero flats on these even with the much lower tread profile. Overall a great experience from ordering through install and riding.
