Description
Built for City Streets
The Schwalbe Motion Big Apple swallows every bump with low air pressure and rolls easily over asphalt as well as forest paths. It stands for absolute comfort and absorbs every bump thanks to its large volume - without any complex suspension technology.
The versatile tread design picks up on modern design elements that can also be found on the sidewall structure of the Motion Big Apple. As the direct successor to the Big Ben and the predecessor model of the Big Apple, the tire makes a statement thanks to its modern design and the highest standards in terms of environmental friendliness.
The Motion Big Apple even follows directly in the footsteps of the Green Marathon, the most environmentally friendly tire Schwalbe has ever produced.

Reviews
I ride with these tires on a Catrike 559 recumbent trike. This is my second set of Schwalbe Big Apple tires for this bike. I have never had a flat or any adverse issues. My trike does not have any suspension on it and therefore is a rough ride compared to a diamond frame bike. I run these tires between 40 and 45 pounds of pressure and they provide a decent about of absorption and cushioning from the road surface defects, and they do not create excess friction that slows me down.
