Reviews
I ride tubeless in everything, so I don't have much good to say about tubes. That being said, I use a trainer tire on my trainer and need a tube to do that. These are very nice tubes with removable presta stems. Very happy with the quality. I will likely purchase Vittoria tubes to carry with me for mountain bike rides. Good quality for a decent price.
Of the four of these Vittoria tubes I bought, three have failed entirely within a month of installing them. With two, as I was removing the valve cap, the end of the valve popped out of the stem entirely so they were useless. The other one just leaked so badly that it was unusable. The fourth I will now throw away without ever using because I am tired of replacing faulty tubes.
I have had issues with the valves starting to leak air when I open the presto valve to air it up and then when I take the pump off it starts releasing air. I have to quickly close it. This doesn't happen all the time but enough that I will be looking for a different brand next time. Very disappointed.
Vittoria 700c road bike tires.
Last set I had proved to be very reliable.
Look good, looking forward to getting lots of miles out of them.
It is what it says it is and it is a reputable company. As (un) luck would have it, I had occasion to use one of these on my next ride. Pinch flat. Sure enough, I opened the tube, it had an 80mm stem for my 50mm wheels and in moments I was off again. Hard to review a simple product that is what it says it is and does what it says it will do...
Overall, this inner tube is great. It took about 300 or so miles till a thorn took out one. now they are not the best but they are good in the sense that they last.
I bought 2. One came with a hole. Certainly not the end of the world, and was an easy patch. But you really prefer them arrive without manufacturing defects. On the other hand, no issues with either the patched or unpatched since then.
