Save Your Wheels!
The legendary combination of durability, protection, and run-flat performance of Vittoria Air-Liners, made for your favorite tubeless-ready road tires! The Vittoria Air-Liner system provides unmatched bump compliance and impact protection while ensuring bead lock at lower pressures. In the event of air loss, the Vittoria Air-Liner Road system is designed for run-flat use.
Given the success and positive results achieved by the Air-Liner mountain bike version, Vittoria decided to push the product beyond the MTB spectrum and develop an innovative insert that could support tubeless-ready tires for road applications.
The insert increases the safety of your tubeless set-up by keeping the tire in place even in case of puncture — No risk to ride on the wheels! The Vittoria Air-Liner Road system is compatible with all tubeless road tires on the market. The lightweight material absorbs no sealant, while the proprietary Vittoria tubeless valves eliminate valve clogging. Whether you are training, touring, exploring, or racing, the Vittoria Air-Liner Road system will provide peace of mind and protection for the ride ahead.

Were much easier than expected to put on.A little learning curve with mounting device but once I figured out was pretty simple.Mounted to Zipp 404 fire crest with Enve 31mm tires. So far so good. I am a big guy 230lbs and its nice to have some extra protection for carbon wheels. Will keep mounting tool with me after reading previous reviews comments
These were fairly easy to install on a set of Mavic and also a set of Fulcrum alloy wheels.
When the tires went flat due to a slice they definitely got us both home.
Performance on a catastrophic flat was amazing.
The problem comes in getting them off.
YOU MUST HAVE THE REMOVAL TOOL. Even then, I had mixed results. On the Mavic set I finally got them off after a lot of struggle. On the Mavic set I was out of town and tried a few methods suggested by a mechanic. I destroyed both wheels trying to get them off. Finally got them off after first getting them unseated and then leaving them for days to allow excess air and sealant to escape. Unfortunately, I destroyed the wheels trying to get the tires off without the tool. Unfortunately, removal is so difficult that I will no longer use these.
