Schwalbe 26" Standard Schrader Valve Tube

For too long, I was buying cheap, lesser quality innertubes and, as a result, was plagued with flat tires constantly. (I did get a lot better at changing a tire! ??) But then I finally came accross Schwalbe's website and ordered 3 of their 26" Standard Schrader Valve Tubes. Flat tires have no longer been an issue.

I have worked in many bike shops and in retirement am the neighborhood bicycle support. I installed these on a set of 26" wheels with about 500 miles and they sure look sturdy and no flats so far. Having installed thousands of tubes in my lifetime these seem very well made and thick.

I'm very happy with the performance of these new innertubes.

I plan to have many happy miles with them.

Fit and quality are fine.

I don't know what to say other than they seemed to be on good quality, were packaged well, and hold air like they're supposed to. No leaks or flats so far.

As a touring cyclist I have used a lot of different tubes. The Schwalbe tube is the best by far for a lot of reasons. One of the more important factors is it doesn't leak down overnight, which a lot of tubes do. I am sure it's because of the quality of the butyl rubber it's made from. Secondly, the Schrader threaded metal valve is very strong. I have had many tube flats in the past where the stem meets the tube. I also like the clear valve stem cap. It reminds me to make sure the valve stem is covered to protect the valve, and it adds a nice finishing touch.

I've had a lot of tubes and a lot of flats in my 25+ years of riding bikes. Of all the tubes I've used, the Schwalbe tubes seem to be the best. The other reviewer mentioned the same things, but these are made with good materials and don't have defects. The clear valve caps are also a higher quality material, and don't strip easily if you tighten them a bit too much.

We have his and hers bikes and these tubes fit both. The extended valve stem is a convenience when adding air. Glad I bought them.

A well-made, simple but important component. I like the steal valve tubes.
