Reviews
I've been running these for the past two seasons on my TT bike pared with SILCA latex tubes. According to BicycleRollingResistence.com this is among the fastest combos extant. So if they say so, it must be true! Nevertheless, they feel supple and fast, so then they are.
These tires are very light, so excellent for climbing, very low rolling resistance, so excellent for going fast, and seem to have decent grip for cornering. I am using these on climbing wheels and aero carbon wheels.
Well, they do what they're supposed to. I swapped out my old Conti's for these, PRed my favorite climb by a mile, then hit a small stick and flatted on the way home. There is 0 puncture protection...but, they're fast. As advertised.
The Michelin Power Time Trial Tire is pure speed. It's light, it's smooth, and it's very fast. The puncture resistance is acceptable, maybe even good for a specialty racing tire. I've used these for almost 100 miles of racing and they are still holding up really well.
It's hard to beat the Power Time Trial for pure racing speed.
