Trekking Made Easy
Take the trails less traveled. In fact, why not create your own? The Topeak DeFender™ TX is a compact trekking bike fender set which is designed to take on the open road. Adjustable aluminum struts with QR levers for quick, perfect alignment and good tire coverage. The DeFender™ TX set is made of impact-resistant material and designed for most tires up to 700 x 44c.
Lightweight, impact-resistant plastic provides durability without weighing the front end down. To minimize the effect of hard-to-remove mud, polished underside works to prevent buildup and aid in cleaning.
The front fender attaches through a brake bolt and fork eyelets, which is super secure during sharp turns and unstable terrain. While the rear can be attached to the seat tube and seatstay or by the chainstay eyelet attachment, both fenders have adjustable angles and positions. This makes for an unforgettable bike that tackles exactly what you need to hit that tantalizing trail.

Well built and easy to install
After several false starts with other brands, the Topeak fenders finally did the job. I put these on an All City Super Professional (700X28) with disc brakes and lots of clearance and eyelets. The only reason this isn't four starts is the frame mounting bracket for the rear fender is on the thick side and can't be slanted enough to make the rear fender as flush as I'd prefer. Not a showstopper, just a bit annoying. Overall, less than 20 minutes to install and ride quietly and solid on the bike.
