Description

There's Nothing More Comfortable Than A Schwalbe Super Moto

Taking your e-bike to work? Rolling through bumpy stretches of urban tarmac? We've got a tire for you.

The Schwalbe Super Moto 29" Urban/E-Bike Tire is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a wide, comfortable, and safe tire for their E-bike or urban commuter. With its dynamic profile, the Super Moto stands out with its low rolling resistance and optimal grip even at higher speeds — ensuring safety and the smoothest ride possible.

It's made with ADDIX rubber, which is a very durable, versatile compound — made specifically for grip at higher speeds. Schwalbe also made sure to include ample siping so that water can be quickly dispersed and the rider can stay upright.

If you are interested in a puncture-resistant tire that will help you get from point A to point B in comfort, give the Super Moto a shot.

Features

  • ADDIX rubber compound for low rolling resistance
  • Ample siping for grip in wet conditions
  • Rated for E-Bikes
  • Reflective sidewall
  • Wire Bead
  • Double Defense Sidewall
  • RaceGuard flat protection belt
  • 29" diameter rolls faster than the 27.5"

Smooth and Quiet

Almost 100% of my riding is rough trail blacktop. I replaced two Specialized Ground Control knobby's. These tires are smooth, quiet, and comfortable (less handlebar vibrations from the knobby's).

They look ground on my e-bike. Almost like motorcycle tire for bikes.

Traction, low rolling resistance, reflective stripe, durable, looks great!

I run these on a surly krampus front and rear for street use and the rear of trek farley ebike conversion for low rolling resistance street use. they are pretty burly street tires and look and feel awesome!

Commuter tires

The tire are heavy, heavier than my knobby mountain bike tires. Seem pretty smooth riding on pavement. I guess since they are on an ebike, the weight isn't a big concern. I am running them tubeless, with the tires pressure around 30psi. I do like the reflective stripe, since I start my commute in the dark.

Great city tire for 29+ bike

These tires have a nice reflective sidewall. They roll much faster, or are easier to pedal, depending on how you ride. They mounted on my tubeless runs with ease. I have ridden around in the grass and on some gravel and with the width I felt very sure footed. I'm not going to try them on any mountain bike trails. I would recommend these for mixed city riding.

Awesome tires

Converted a 29" mtb bike to an ebike for commuting to work. These look awesome and have a thicker profile then most road/street style tires. They are also very grippy.

About what youd expect from Schwalbe

Excellent quality tire, looks a lot like a motorcycle tire.

The puncture protection is fairly good. The tread area is dramatically thicker than the sidewalls, perhaps 200%. I did, after about 1,100 miles commuting on my ebike, get a flat; I caught a 2 inch long piece of metal that drove straight into the center of the tire.

I was worried that heavy tread would make the tire feel slow but having switched both e-randoneurs to schwalbe tires Im rolling faster with a noticeable improvement in battery life.

Comfortable tires rolling, the sidewalls are far more supple than I expected and with reasonable air pressure they smooth out bumps very effectively.

A definite upgrade over the OEM tires on my fairly expensive EBike.
