The Schwalbe Marathon PRO Mondial 700c is the endurance runner in the range – and the youngest member of a dynasty of explorers. It is Schwalbe's reliable specialist for thousand-kilometer expeditions and for all unforeseeable circumstances on the world's roads and slopes.

Optimal puncture protection is a central criterion in the long evolution of Schwalbe touring bike tires. The Marathon PRO Mondial enjoys the all-round protection of Double Defense Technology. The PRO version also sports V Guard to offer even more puncture protection and maximum reliability.

As a touring bike tire of this caliber, the Marathon Mondial also has to impress on the road as well as rough terrain. This was addressed with an optimal balance of smooth running and durability. The Marathon Mondial rolls smoothly on asphalt but also offers extreme load capacity for heavy luggage for off-road use - up to 150 kilograms total weight.

The Marathon Mondial benefits from Schwalbe's MTB know-how in its tread pattern: Its prominent shoulder lugs are equipped with little grooves, which spread out to allow the lugs to bite into the surface better. This provides stability on loose terrain, round corners and in the wet. The running surface also consists of wide, smooth blocks which roll perfectly on asphalt.

The Marathon Mondial is now also available as a tubeless tire for the first time. This adds even more puncture protection at even lower tire pressures.
