The Schwalbe Marathon PRO Almotion is their benchmark for touring tires. This sporty member of the Marathon family is the foldable PRO version designed to meet the highest standards as an affordable clincher tire. A universal, extra-light companion for touring and travel. Its new tread lives up to these standards, offering a smooth ride and many miles on the road. The Marathon Almotion combines ultimate riding performance with increased puncture protection.

The V-Guard puncture-resistant belt gives this tire the highest puncture protection at a low weight. The puncture and tear-resistant, yet lightweight protective layer offers the optimal balance of performance and protection making it the ideal tire for your lightweight, fast trekking bike. With its "Race-PRO" construction, the Marathon PRO Almotion combines minimal rolling resistance and high load capacity.

Schwalbe developed a completely new tread pattern for the Marathon PRO Almotion. Its modern, solid center profile ensures smooth operation and a long service life. The grippy outer blocks ensure traction in wet weather and high functionality in particular away from asphalt roads.

This tire is made with ADDIX Race compound for maximum smoothness and speed. Schwalbe originally developed the compound for high-end racing bike tires and it has been proven on the wheels of the pros. Along with incredibly low rolling resistance, ADDIX Race delivers outstanding grip and control on the road. All PRO tires are made with fair-trade natural rubber.

The Marathon PRO Almotion is a folding tire and tubeless ready (TLR). This allows you to ride with lower tire pressure for better traction and lower rolling resistance. At the same time, the puncture protection is improved: With tubeless tires, you're better protected from punctures and the sealant seals small holes on the go.
