The Schwalbe Marathon Mondial 26" is the ultimate touring tire, made for roads, tracks and trails of all continents. The tread pays homage to its legendary Marathon XR predecessor. Construction and compounding are naturally the very latest Schwalbe Evo technology. Double Defense technology makes it light, but with an extremely robust construction.

Optimal puncture protection is a central criterion in the long evolution of our touring bike tires. The Marathon Mondial enjoys the all-round protection of Double Defense Technology. As a touring bike tire of this caliber, the Marathon Mondial also has to impress on the road as well as rough terrain. The Marathon Mondial rolls smoothly on asphalt but also offers extreme load capacity for heavy luggage for off-road use - up to 150 kilograms total weight.

The Marathon Mondial benefits from MTB know-how in its tread pattern: Its prominent shoulder lugs are equipped with little grooves, which spread out to allow the lugs to bite into the surface better. This provides stability on loose terrain, round corners and in the wet. The running surface also consists of wide, smooth blocks which roll perfectly on asphalt.
