Description

Good For Your Ride And Our Environment

The Schwalbe Green Marathon 700c is the first bicycle tire with a closed-loop product cycle. They are made from 100% Fair Rubber, including 70% from recycled and renewable raw materials, resulting in reduced pollutants by 98% and reduced CO2 footprint by 34%. All at the same time maintaining the optimized riding performance and all of the durability that you have come to expect from previous Marathons.

The GreenGuard puncture protection layer under the tread is made of 3mm flexible, special India rubber partly from recycling for particularly reliable protection.

Schwalbe E-50 certification marks tires with European ECE-R75 approval, their recommendation for fast E-Bikes — S-Pedelecs with type approval, insurance, and motor assist over 25 km/h — for which a special tire approval is necessary.

look good but have not used yet

I got these for my daughter's bike and have not put them on yet. They look nice. Hope the extra width smooths the ride some.

So far so hood

Put one of these on the rear of my Cypress DX and took it down the GAP trail. So far so good. No flats. Rides much better than the OEM tire it replaced. Havent noticed any wear after about 250 miles. Well see how it hold up in the long run. It is a little tough to mount, just take your time and follow the included directions and you should be fine. Seems to be a solid buy at a decent price and quick shipping by biketiresdirect.

no flats yet!

was getting a lot of flats this year on my Portland commute, but none since switching to these. not the easiest to install but it wasn't really that hard either - didn't have to do anything special to install.

Lean & Green

Eco friendly mfg, I love it. Plus the green emblem matches my bike color. Cant go wrong with a Schwalbe!

Great for touring

I have been riding on these tires for several years, including a 1500 mile camping tour down the Pacific coast. I've never had a flat. Good value.

Good gravel tire

Good grip. Fine on pavement - a bit of rolling resistance but not bad. Cant comment on longevity as they havent been on long. No flats so far.
