The Schwalbe Green Marathon 16" is the first bicycle tire with a closed-loop product cycle. They are made from 100% Fair Rubber, including 70% from recycled and renewable raw materials, resulting in reduced pollutants by 98% and reduced CO2 footprint by 34%. All at the same time maintaining the optimized riding performance and all of the durability that you have come to expect from previous Marathons.

The GreenGuard puncture protection layer under the tread is made of 3mm flexible, special India rubber partly from recycling for particularly reliable protection.
