Description
All The Speed. All The Stability. All The Roads
The Schwalbe G-One Speed Performance 650b all-road tire is above all a lightweight, snappy, tarmac and fast-gravel crusher! This tire extends the range of use for every road cyclist into all-road territory. It rolls fast and velvety on the road, but at the same time provides stability and a supple, higher-volume ride where the pavement ends.
The G-One Speed utilizes a uniform tread pattern of low-profile round knobs for an extremely fast ride on pavement, but with just enough all-round tread for traction and stability over hardpack and light gravel.
Features:
- 650b x 1.2 // 2.0" tubeless ready clincher
- All-road optimized for mixed terrain — tarmac, hardpack, and fast gravel
- Addix Speedgrip compound provides a supple, grippy ridefeel
- RaceGuard lightweight, cut-resistant fabric layer
- Uniform tread pattern of rounded knobs balances traction with low rolling resistance
- 67 TPI
- Available in 650b x 1.2" or 2.0" width options
- Available in Black or Tanwall edition
- Weight: 320/515g

Reviews
Been running these on my daily commute bike for a year, set up tubeless. At 30 psi they provide great damping for rough streets and roll quickly. A deep puncture in the middle of the tread sealed up will with sealant fluid and has not been losing pressure for weeks since. Holding strong after thousands of rough miles on road and cutting across fields, hucked curbs, and gravel trails. Best tire I've ever used on a pavement bike.
The advertised 2" size is off more than any tire I've ever seen. I mounted one tubeless to a 21mm internal width rim, and it measured at 1.4" at ~40psi. Returned.
*Addendum from Bike Tires Direct* The inner width of your rim will absolutely have an effect on the outer width of any tire. If the rim is very narrow, the final width of the tire will not be the width of what is advertised. Bike Tires Direct staff.
How can you review them if you can't mount them ?
Schwalbe 'TubeLess Easy' = not so much.
Who hasn't ripped a tubeless tire & needed to stuff a tube into them ? Very, very difficult beads to deal with.
