The Panaracer Gravel King SK 700c Tire is ready to take on even the most hardcore roads. Featuring a more aggressive tread than the standard Gravel King tire, the SK utilizes Panaracer's ZSG Natural rubber compound for optimal natural puncture protection and grip. Go beyond the end of the road with confidence thanks to the aggressive tread with raised knobs through the central patch, while more sizable blocky shoulder knobs keep you rubber-side down while cornering. The AX-α low rolling-resistance casing and anti-flat puncture protection breaker keeps the tires rolling even when the terrain gets rough. Take the comfort and durable protection to the next level with a tubeless setup (in widths 35mm or wider), supporting inflation pressures of up to 70 PSI.

Folding aramid bead. Multiple widths available. Max inflation: 70 PSI (60 when tubeless). Claimed weight is 400 grams. Available in Black or Brown sidewall. Available in 650B sizes as well.

Solid gravel tire

I've been using the Gravel King SK on my cyclocross bike for about a year and a half. It's does a great job on gravel. I've raced gravel and cyclocross with it. It's a great overall tire.

The wear on the tire is above average. I rotate front tire to back and replace and have no problem getting 2 seasons out of it.

I run these tubeless. They were easy to setup and I've never had any punctures, even when I roll single track.

Unique tire that fits the need perfectly

I searched high and low to find a tire that I could use on my older model Specialized Roubaix for gravel road racing. Most of the gravel tires are too wide to fit in this bikes more

Traditional road bike geometry.

The ultegra road brakes in particular wont fit a tire wider than 26

Voila- Panaracer to the rescue- these tires fit in the frame and under the brakes. They are tough and offer excellent grip on dirt roads and through the corners. Lighter than a CX tire and roll faster when you hit the pavement too!

I love these tires- good work Panaracer!!

One of a kind

I searched high & low for a pair of knobby tires that I could mount on my Specialized Roubaix with Ultegra brakes- nobody had anything that fit

Until these

A shout out for bike tires direct- Ive bought many tires etc from them in the past, and this is the second time Ive called them for advice -

The fellow helping me went and looked at them and confirmed later they would fit my bike - this is excellent service!

Riding them on gravel is fantastic-they offer almost CX like traction and they roll fine on paved

Highly recommended

Good gravel tires

Got the SK Gravel King 32mm tires for gravel riding and am very pleased. They ride great and offer good traction at around 320 grams each. No problems with flats and durability - good tire for the money.

Runs narrow, flat profile

I bought a set of the Gravel King 32s based on my excellent experience with the GK 28s. However, they are very different tires and I am disappointed with the 32s. The 28s run wider than most tires in that size, about 29 mm on Open Pro rims and 30 mm on Velocity Dyads. However, the 32s barely measure 32 mm on Dyads, which are wide rims. They also have a much more aggressive tread and flatter profile compared to the 28s, making less than ideal for cornering and riding on pavement. I would not buy these tires again. Clement LAS 33s or Ritchey Crossmax Pro are better alternatives for a wider tire with moderate tread. That said, the GK 32s are a great value at $27, particularly if you don't plan to ride on the road and corner a lot.

Good all arounder

On the whole I like this tire a lot. My only complaint is at high lean angles on pavement at high speed. Things start feeling a little wiggly. Still, ya gotta be moving pretty damn fast before it's noticeable.

Surprising good for dirt-sand-fine gravel

I'm running this on the rear on the bike trails and enjoying the traction and ride. The tire seems to glide smoothly over trail and likes about 70-75 psi for my average weight. Does fine on the pavement too, but most of my riding is on the trails. Ran a 32mm Clement X'plor 120 tpi when the ground was softer, but the Gravel King gives superior traction when it gets hard, dry and dusty.

Thought the small tread blocks would wear fast but not so - they've held up, roll quietly, and don't seem to mind the patches of deeper gravel.

Not so good for the front - the tire has a flat profile which puts a lot of rubber on the ground, but I like a rounded profile to bank into the corners easily. It does grip decently but is not as fun to toss into a turn.

Think you need wider rims (I use 19mm internal) to get the most out of it.

Good on asphalt, confidence inspiring off road

I've only got a few rides on these tires, but I'm pretty happy with how they perform. Rode a lot of asphalt in Moab one day, then took that asphalt out to the desert roads to Hurrah Pass with mixed gravel and slickrock. Felt like a lot of good rubber underneath.

Puncture flat less than 500 miles..But

These have been great up until I got home from my evening commute and my rear tire was Pssssshht. Investigating, something microscopic and sharp as eff penetrated the tire between the center knobbies and the corner knob wall. It is a small puncture. My commute is mostly tame, but the very high volume road I ride on has everything on earth in the gutter...oops! I mean bike lane. Including standard road furniture. (Manholes!)

Am patching now, will post follow up. Otherwise, GREAT tires. Perfect for mixed pavegravel. I think maybe I just got unlucky, but still. A tiny sliver shouldnt stop the party.

Great Tire for Gravel

Got these tires 3 weeks ago for my gravel grindercommuter bike. It was a killer deal from Westerbikeworks, mounted easily on my mavic allroad wheels (I used a compressor this time) and sealed properly using Stans. They are advertised at 35 mm but at 60 PSI they go up to around 37mm which is not a problem for me. They feel soft and comfortable on gravel but feel a tad slower on tarmac ( compared to my Clement MSO) it endured very well on the total beat down during the Castell grind last weekend. they are also lighter than the Clement That I previously used. So far so good I would probably buy them again

Fast rolling gravel tire.

I've used this for a month now on a cross bike over all kinds of surfaces, including single track with nasty jagged rock. No problems. Rolls well on the road also.

This is one tough tubeless tire!

My first race on the GK SK was called the Oregon Coast Gravel Epic which is part of the Triple Crown event series. This was a 60 mile gravel ride filled with non stop climbs and descents. I caught a sharp edge during my first 10 miles and nearly catapulted off of my bike. After I fixed the 34 slice, I not only finished the race, but have since ridden the same tires for thousands of gnarly gravel miles. This is an incredible gravel tire. The only drawback of the GK SK is that the rolling resistance on asphalt is a bit high. However if you plan on riding gravel, this is the tire for you. Once the tread is worn off these babies, I already have my replacement set ready to go.

Good compromise for road gravel

These tires seem to work well on gravel and pavement. I am using tubes and run 45psi in back and 40 in front. No flats so far and with 35s. Tires seem to hold speed on pavement and the side knobs and file tread seem to handle predictably on gravel. So far I am happy with these tires.

riding this 70% gravel 30% pavement

My 1st foray into 700x35mm for the CX Gravel bike, up from 28mm. Ive got a couple hundred miles on them so far - i think i need to run a higher pressure than what was suggested to me - they feel a little squishy on the bumps. I realize thats likely what they are intended to do, i maybe just am not used to the firmer skinnier tires i rode last year. So far a solid B
