Reviews
Good tires. They ride well and they're easy to mount (not always a given with folding tires). I bought the 700 x 30c gumwalls for a Peugeot racing bike from the early 80s. I wish I'd read the reviews first; these tires run narrow.
These are nice looking tires that were easy to mount on my 17c internal width Campagnolo wheels. Most reviews mentioned how narrow these are compared to the stated size and in my case these 32s measure out at 30mm which is the same as the 30c Panaracer Agilest that these replaced. However, the Lithions are 2mm or so taller and get quite close to the fork crown. The Agilests may perform better though these are likely far more durable.
Narrow for a 700x30, but easy to fit on rim. Seems fast for a training tire and when caught in a rainstorm, held the road with solid traction. Great value for money on sale.
I wanted the widest tire I could fit on my 1980s racing bike. I couldn't fit 32s and there are plenty of 28mm choices so the Michelin Lithion was just right. It rolls smooth on pavement and has enough contact patch for harder packed gravel. A bonus is they look awesome
