Description

Maximum Grip and Unparalleled Downhill Traction

The Maxxis Minion DHR II DC/EXO/TR 24" Tire was designed as a rear tire to compliment the Minion DHF.

With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other.

The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control.

Pair it with a Minion DHF up front for the ultimate aggressive trail riding tire combo! The Minion DHF is available in trail, enduro, and downhill specs.

Features:

  • Ideal rear tire paired with the Minion DHF
  • Ramped, directional tread design
  • Compound: Dual
  • EXO: Extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high.
  • TR: tubeless ready
  • Width: 2.3"
  • Bead: folding
  • Weight: ~748g

  • B-Stock - This product has one or more B-Stock units available. These units can be purchased at a discount (see option select). Kids deserve real tires

Swapped out the plastic tires on my son's Rocky Mountain Vertex 24 for this and a DHF up front. Perfect combo and so much better on loose rocks and wet roots. He's definitely happier and more confident on challenging and technical trails. Probably overkill if your kids just ride smooth trails but 100% worth the $ and then some if they like riding the rough/steep stuff.

    Great tires

Maxxis is one of the top brands. I have used the minion dhr and dhf on multiple bikes over the years. Got this one to upgrade the factory tire on the grand sons bike.
