Get a Grip
The Maxxis Dissector II (MT/EXO+/TR 29") is back with major upgrades for better control, cornering, and braking. Redesigned side knobs offer a larger footprint for enhanced grip and stability, especially on hard terrain. The center tread keeps the fast-rolling 2-3-2 layout but now features split center knobs for better braking and terrain conformity. Transition knobs are pushed outward for smoother cornering.
Perfect as a front tire on 130–140mm trail bikes or a fast rear tire on 150mm+ setups in dry conditions. Pairs great with the Forekaster or Rekon for a balanced ride. 30-35mm internal width rim is recommended for best performance.
EXO+ is Maxxis' medium-duty puncture protection option suitable for all-around trail riding and light weight e-bikes. It begins with a durable 60 TPI casing, adds in legendary EXO puncture protection layer in the sidewalls, and is topped off with a small butyl insert around the bead. The tough casing and EXO material ward off damage from rocks and roots, while the butyl insert protects the tire from pinch flats and helps prevent rim damage.

- EXO+ casing
- Tubeless Ready (TR).
- 29" x 2.40" (61-622)
