The MX177 features form fitting and durable microfiber and mesh upper with a comfortable and secure BOA closure utilizing Carbitex tongue panels for reduced friction lace adjustment.
What really makes the MX177 stand out is it's amazing fiberglass-injected nylon sole. Lake's nylon sole is world famous for its uncompromising fit and performance. No other injection nylon sole offers the same level of stiffness or comfort. Combined with a real rubber sole, the MX177 is one of the most versatile cycling shoes available.

Really great shoe. They are actually comfortable. Which seems to be a rare quality in cycling shoes these days. I should have gone up one size though for them to be a perfect fit. I went to the Lake shoes website and did all of the measurements and ended up with a size 44. Which is one size smaller than what I normally wear. But I wanted to trust the Lake shoe people regarding sizing their shoes. It was difficult for me to decide to get the size that I measured. But I decided to make the commitment to trust them. I don't regret buying the shoes. Because they are amongst the most comfortable cycling shoes I have owned. The soles are made out of a material that works well for walking on different types of terrain. And they are very stiff for good power transfer.
