Reviews
Hutchinson Blackbird Racing Lab TLR 700x30c tires. I have these mounted to a set of Vision Metron 45sl wheels set up tubeless. In terms of performance, these tires are in the same ballpark as GP5k's and Schwalbe Pro One TLRs. I am 170lbs (77kg) and run them around 78psi. I would give the Hutchinson's a slight edge in terms of road comfort as they feel more forgiving than the competition. I have yet to have a puncture with these. The last set of Hutchinson's I had kept an acceptable amount of wear up to about 1100 miles. Based on the road conditions in my area, this mileage is about as good as Schwalbe's and better than Conti, Pirelli P-Zero Race TLRs, and Goodyear F1 Eagles. Best part is it is typically pretty easy to find the Hutchinson Blackbirds on sale if you shop around. I'm happy that BTD stocks them.
