Description

A High Quality Tire For Unusual 28 Inch (635 ISO) Rims

The Continental Tour Ride is a great tire for reliably getting around town or touring when the road conditions are unknown. It features a smooth center tread for quick rolling in the straights but has ample tread on the shoulders for reliable cornering traction.

It also features a breakdown protection belt to help ward off flats and a high mileage rubber compound for long life.

Size 28 Inch (635 ISO). 690 grams.

Please Note:

This is a very unusual size used on rod-brake roadsters. Some 700c tires (622mm ISO) are labeled as 28 inch but are not the same as these 635mm ISO tires.

These are NOT compatible with standard 700c (622 ISO) rims — Please, if you have further questions, we encourage you to contact our customer service.

ooks lke a sturdy tire and should wear well.

I put the 28 x 1/2" tires on a girl Gazelle 70-year-old Dutch bike. I have not had a chance to ride it, because he weather. I live in upstate NY. The tires went on fine.

ok tire, seems puncture resistant BUT wish it took higher PSI for quicker response.

I road commute daily. I also hillclimb for training and fitness, as well as use our trails for offroad fun. Thus far, tires have endured the pounding. Even though I overinflated.

Which segways my gripe. I'd forgotten to ask the bike tech for PSI rec's. Now when I search the tirewalls for data, I need a magnifier. Worse, the specs are confusing. I read the word 'MAX' followed by what appears to be a long string of apha-numreic code. Please simplify these marks for us 'visually challenged' types.
