Description
More Edge Bite for Dominating Varied Terrain
The Challenge Flandrien TE TLR is a performance-driven, tubeless-ready Cyclocross Tire developed to embody the spirit of mid-winter cyclocross racing. Named after the resilient riders who thrive in changing conditions, the Flandrien gives more cornering traction in both dry and lightly wet or muddy conditions, making it the perfect transition tire between the Grifo and Baby Limus. The TE (Team Edition) brings the pro-level performance of corespun cotton construction and SMARTsoft rubber to a TLR format—crafted using Challenge's signature Handmade Construction from their famous tubulars.
Sometimes a Grifo isn't enough, and a Limus is too much. There are many situations where you need a "fast" mud tire, and the Flandrien fills that gap perfectly. It rolls like a Grifo but has more aggressive, widely-spaced knobs that add traction, clear mud, and will drop into ruts without lifting out of them. When there's hard ground under a top layer of mud and the course is fast but slippery, the Flandrien is ideal.
Features:
- Handmade Corespun Cotton 320tpi Casing
- SMARTsoft Rubber Compound - A more compliant rubber compound fine-tuned by Cyclocross World Champions for a smooth ride and maximum grip.
- Puncture Protection System (PPS) - A tough, tightly-woven fabric placed between the tread and casing to increase puncture resistance.
- Hookless rim compatible, and is designed to be compliant with UCI tire-width rules with most rims having an internal rim width up to 23mm.
- 700x33
