The Challenge Chicane PRO TLR is a super fast rolling tire providing maximum control on dry hardpack, wet grass, and icy conditions.

This handmade PRO version combines a supple Super Polyester casing with a standard Smart Compound.

This Challenge TLR model is hookless rim compatible, and is designed to be compliant with UCI tire-width rules with most rims having an internal rim width up to 23mm.

• Weight: 33c: 395 g
• Construction: Handmade. Challenge handmade tires combine comfort, performance, and grip. Assembled step-by-step by experienced craftspeople using high quality natural glues and latex coatings applied to ultra-supple casing materials like silk, cotton, or polyester.
• Series: PRO. The workhorse handmade tire delivering performance and ride feel unmatched by traditional vulcanized tires. Perfect for the rigors of daily riding.
• Casing: Super Polyester 300TPI. Super Polyesters with higher thread counts of 220-300tpi make up the most affordable handmade casings. Polyester is softer and stronger than nylon, impervious to water, and quite durable.
• Compound: SMART. The standard rubber compound, balancing durability and performance. Handmade construction ensures tread compounds are never hardened or heated by the vulcanization process.
• Puncture Protection: PPS. The Puncture Protection System is a tough, tightly-woven fabric placed between the tread and casing to increase puncture resistance.
