The Challenge Chicane Pro Tire is a race-proven clincher tire that's handmade to provide the utmost speed and grip on the cyclocross course. Ideal for dry conditions, the Chicane PRO has a fast-rolling file tread down the center and aggressive shoulder knobs that hook up when leaned into loose or grassy corners. Challenge's 300 TPI SuperPoly casing gives the Chicane a super supple ride quality and lets the tire conform to the track surface for superior traction.
The Chicane Pro Cyclocross Tire is 700c x 33mm (33-622 ISO) and available with black tread and tan sidewall. Aramid folding bead. 30-90 PSI inflation range. 355 grams.
Note: We've found these tires somewhat difficult to mount on certain rims due to their tighter tread fit. A bit of extra care may be required in installation. If you have questions, please contact us.

Almost perfect file tread
More versatile than a standard file tread, the limus knobs make off-camber sections and soft ground cornering a step ahead of a normal file tread. a really fast tire that can handle damp as well as dry. The open tubular casing is supple, and with latex tubes, as good as it gets for a CX clincher.
In comparison to the Kenda Happy Medium, the Chicane is far more supple and smoother on the course. Train on the former, race on the latter.
One caveat, cornering requires faith on the Chicane. There are no transition knobs-these tires slip before grabbing on hard corners.
