Description
A layer of gel across the top gives an additional level of relief to the Cite Gel. This saddle was designed for the male recreational rider who spends a half day on the bike or less, rides nearly upright with lots of weight against the saddle or has significant lower back pain. A completely seamless, heavily contoured top with large cutaway is guaranteed to hit and miss in all the right places. Shock-absorbing elastomers molded into the saddle base create the effect of springs without any mechanical devices or additional weights. They also help eliminate vibrations from road or surface that ordinarily get transferred straight to the spine. An incredible value for the complexity involved in construction. Black synthetic cover with red and gray accents. 479g. Made in Italy.
Terry saddles have a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy after trying it, return the saddle within 30 days of receiving it for a refund or credit toward another product.

I replaced the original seat on a vintage Raleigh Marathon that I use to cruise casual 15 to 25 milers. To make a long story short, I am on the gel seat a lot more after replacing the original one. Bike technology has come a long way!
I bought one of these and in 4500 miles and 4 years it started to crack. The material dried out and cracked in the center section. I also have a another bike with a WTB seat around the same price and it is still going after 14000 miles and 4 years of service.
After spending a ton on saddles, and hurting after 20 or more miles, I tried the Terry in desperation. I am 64, and lost quite a bit of weight several years ago. I don't have much padding on my sit bones. Terry hit a home run on the Cite Y. This saddle is a keeper.
Not experimenting with other saddles will save me money. So it is a great value.
