I got these as emergency insurance for my bike bag.
Reasonably priced, genuine SRAM replacement part at a good price. Not much to say. Cheap insurance for a day ride gone bad. I hope I never need to use it.

A must have item for SRAM 12spd. owners
If you own a SRAM 12 speed AXS system you know this is a must have item. I find these perfect for replacing / re waxing the chain on a regular basis.

GCN wrong about this
On a recent tech section GCN thought the price was too high and the link could be reused. The price here is for FOUR links. Further, THIS link should not be reused. It is different from non-AXIS chains. It looks more fragile. I read an earlier review on BTD and it mentioned installation had to be carefully done. Good heads-up.

Must Have !
You must have these if you remove your chain for any reason, you can not reuse the old power link. If you are using the Sarm Red or Force 12 speed AXS groupsets this is the powerlock to get. MAKE SURE you get the right powerlock there are others that look the same but will not work, The power lock is easy to use ,you just have to line it up right so it snaps in correctly and locks the arrow on the power lock has to point in the direction of the pedal stroke, moving forward. If you have not used them before might want to get 2 sets just incase of a mistake, i installed mine and was just a little off on lining it up and only half snapped in and i could not get the other side to snapp closed i had to remove it and you cant reuse it cuz one side was locked and not the other, dam it, any ways buy 2 and your covered.

Just what it is supposed to be used for. I carry this in my tool bag has an emergency item. I figure the chain will probably stretch and wear out before I ever will have to use a link like this.

Does the job, I order a few at a time!
I never reuse these and I wax my chains. Use the flattop road with force red or rival. Does the job and using a new one is peace of mind!
