The Silca Wax Starter Pack provides everything you need to get your chain prepped and waxed for miles and miles of smooth and silent pedaling.
Step one is Silca's new Ultimate Chain Stripper + Wax Prep. This is a highly concentrated, biodegradable degreaser combined with a wax adhesion promoter (primer), allowing for fast, single-step preparation of factory chains for waxing while also improving wax adhesion and increasing longevity.
Step two is Silca's Super Secret Chain Lube, which brings all the speed and silent running of a hot-melt wax-dipper chain to a drip applied wax.

Wow! I've done the whole degreaser, acetone, sonic cleaning ordeal to get a new chain prepped. In under 20 minutes, this new chain stripper did just as good of a job, and with much less scary chemicals! Just incredible - truly a gamechanger.
Silca's wax offers excellent performance - I use their hot wax every ~300-400 miles, and the drip wax to extend the wax's life between hot applications. It's really good, and the new stripper makes it so much easier, lowering the barrier to entry for everyone! Highly recommended.
I have the Silca wax on my road bike and mountain bike. Gravel bike still using Squirt. The Silca wax works good on my road bike, although it�s not as clean as pure white wax. In my road bike it lasts for a few hundred miles if topped off with their super secret wax. On mountain bike in southern Ca where it can get dusty it last me about 10-15 miles and the drivetrain gets noisy. I followed Silcas instructions to the T.
Used as a chain cleaning prep before applying the liquid wax product both included in package. The liquid wax product definitely adds a new dimension to chain and sprockets contact and smooth use.
