SIDI's flagship shoe for triathletes, the T-5 Air Triathlon Shoe, arrives with a series of must-have features and women-specific tunings that make it race-ready out of the box.

Start with the vented Politex upper, which is constructed of several overlapping layers with different physical and mechanical properties. This compacted PVC material is coupled to two fabrics (knitted fabric and felt) that is film dyed for durable, long-lasting color retention.

Made in strict compliance with environmental regulations that have earned it a "green product" designation, Politex offers strong protection against rips, lacerations, stretching and fading.

On the back, a reinforced heel keeps the foot in an optimal position and avoids the shoe being deformed by extreme performance or prolonged pressure, while a replaceable polyurethane heel pad adds walkability.

Down below, a composite sole injected with molded carbon fiber in a matrix of nylon creates a lighter and stiffer sole that is less susceptible to changes because of aging or extended usage.

Though the men's and women's T-5 Air Triathlon Shoe share the same overall design, the women's version is narrower across the ball of the foot, the instep area, and in the heel cup to better mimic the tapered contour of women's feet.

Rounding out the design of the T-5 Air Triathlon Shoe are smart details like two wide Velcro closure straps, heel hooks for easy-on, easy-off transitions, and bold red, rose, and white triangles tiled around the sides, toes, and on the top.
