Sidi's Drako SRS Carbon MTB shoes mean serious business for those who want the ultimate in performance and durability on the trail. Sidi's Techno-3 Push retention system allows for a non-binding fit that conforms to the upper foot for even pressure distribution. The dial adjusters lock down close to the shoe while riding but can be easily flipped up for on-the-fly adjustments thanks to Push button functionality, and Sidi's Soft Instep Closure System® is connected to the upper dial to eliminate pressure points and discomfort. The uppers are constructed from rugged and abrasion-resistant Performa Tech Pro synthetic fabric, and a rubber toe cup deflects incoming rocks and debris.
At the heart of the Drako is Sidi's updated SRS Carbon-Ground Sole®. The medium-modulus carbon shaves about 100 grams off the Dragon's previous SRS Sole® without compromising stiffness, and there's a cleat plate that protects the sole from damage while clipping in. Comfort Fit insoles provide support underfoot, and the Adjustable Heel Retention Device® features helps eliminate power robbing heel lift without discomfort.
Buckles, straps, tread blocks, and cleat plate are all easily replaceable. Compatible with standard two-bolt SPD-style MTB cleats.

These are just awesome shoes. The Boa style closure system that Sidi has designed is really impressive. You foot is held with consistent pressure - I'd put it like a well fitted ski boot. Zero heel slippage once you adjust the heel cup adjustment.
What was unexpected was the stiffness of the sole. There is a noticeable increase in power transfer over the Dominator 5 series style of MTB shoe. If you have to hike a lot on the bike, this may not be the shoe but if you are using MTB shoes for long distance road riding, this is probably the go-to shoe for you.
I've always had great luck with Sidis in terms of fit and comfort but these shoes are a click past that.
For sizing, I have a normal to wide foot and have traditionally gone back and forth from a 44 Mega in Sidi sizing to a 44.5 regular. These in a 44.5 fit me perfectly - like they were made for me. My street shoe size is a 10.5 to 11 depending on the shoe. For these, my toes is very near the front and the width is perfect if I let out the adjustment on the instep of the sidi strap that is pulled tight across the top of the foot. The adjustment I'm referring to is the gross adjustment on the INSIDE of the foot, not the boa control side.
Only downside to these shoes is the price. But if you catch them on a BTD sale, they are worth it.
