The Shimano XT features Hyperglide +, allowing a seamless inward and outward shift that is faster with less shift. For quicker and more precise shifts, you now need less effort for the chain to engage in with the next cog, while shifting up or down.

Every chain includes Shimano's new quick link, for tool-less chain removal and installation, making on-the-trail repairs easier than ever before.
