The Ultimate Cold Weather Gravity Shoe
Don't let bad weather keep you inside. The Shimano's GE900GTX is designed for wet and cold days in the saddle. Its waterproof GORE-TEX membrane upper with elastic ankle area keeps the elements at bay, while the shoe's unique midsole structure allows the heel section to move torsionally, maintaining full range of motion for improved rider comfort, fluidity, and on-bike control.
Easy-to-grasp BOA dial allows for seamless closure adjustability even with winter gloves. Waterproof GORE-TEX membrane upper with elastic ankle area helps keep feet warm and dry. Cold weather-optimized ULTREAD GE outsole delivers enhanced grip on slippery hike-a-bike sections, and has a molded pedal channel that provides a stable shoe-to-pedal connection.
The BOA closure with bash guard and instep strap deliver a secure fit that's micro-adjustable for superior foot hold during aggressive pedaling over rough terrain. Full-length nylon midsole reinforced with carbon increases rigidity for improved pedaling efficiency during cold weather rides.

Reviews
This shoe performs as you would want. It is warm (not too warm) and dry. But given the dry nature of it, the fit is tight at the ankle/cuff and not the easiest to put on (this was expected). Unfortunately, the pull tab at the back of the shoe that aids in putting them on broke in less than two months. Now I have to ship the shoes back for evaluation and wait for a decision from Shimano during the wettest time of the year, or deal with a shoddy experience and risk the boot wearing down in other ways when I try to cram my foot into it. Not a happy cyclist right now. I would look elsewhere for a better construction. This shoe is too expensive to have poor quality control and construction.
