Reviews
I needed to replace my saddle due to a minor fall. I had a saddle fit previously and knew I needed a flat configuration. I also decided to 'invest' in a really good saddle. I purchased this because of 1) great sale price 2) Sella's reputation and 3) a friend's experience.
I found the padding on the Flite Boost is supportive and comfortable. The nose isshorter than I was used to, so I don't hook the crotch of my bibs when I sit back in the saddle. I don't seem to slide forward in the saddle either. My butt is comfortable after 40-45 mile rides, and while I was a bit sore after a metric century, it was much less than before. While the cover is plastic, it appears to be a durable good quality material that may actually be tough to scrape. I like it well enough that I'm waiting for the next sale to get the gravel version for my gravel bike, despite the cost.
I bought this a replacement for a Fabric Scoop Race Team Flat. The Sella was comfortable from the start with firm support and no soreness after a quick 25 mile ride. I especially appreciate the compact nose not hooking my bibs when a sit after standing.
I have had Flite models on road, mountain, CX and gravel. Their shape works well for me, especially now with the cut out. I splurged on this model with the Ti rails and I'm glad that I did.
