Upgrading/lightening up a 2017 Giant XTC Jr 24" MTB for my 6 year old. He's already 49" tall, so it won't be long until he's on it. It belonged to my now 6'4" 15 year old son. Great bike just could be lighter. These tires, even though they have a wire bead, are lighter and have better trail riding tread than the previous tires. Can't wait for him to be ready to make the jump from his 20" Guardian bike to this and to hit some trails.
