My handlebar bag gets in the way of a bar mounted light so I needed something with a helmet mount (sold separately) that would be secure and not too heavy. This light/mount combo works great. Easy to turn on/off and change intensity and mode by feel. The mount is secure and easy to I strap on and remove. I generally don't ride at night but got it mainly for tunnels, although having ridden at night using lights with half the intensity, I'm sure it would be more than adequate for that.
