DoubleDown Casing For Downhill & Enduro Courses
The Maxxis Minion DHF Wide Trail 3CG/DD/TR 29" MTB Tire is the ideal downhill front tire. Designed for 30-35mm internal rim widths and built with a Dual-Ply 120TPI Double Down (DD) casing, these Minions get the job done.
If you are putting in long days at the bike park or sending it on enduro courses, you want the best front tire you can get. Enter the Maxxis Minion DHF. Unlike the other minion DHF models, this one has a special casing specifically designed to grip, prevent punctures, and protect your rims.
DoubleDown (DD) is the next step in the evolution of the dual-ply tire casing for enduro and downhill racing. Two 120 TPI casing layers reinforced with a butyl insert provide the rider with the support and protection of an MTB tire but in a lighter package.
Therre are two options for the rubber compound in this tire:
3C MaxxGrip uses the softest rubber compounds to offer the ultimate in grip and slow rebound properties for unparalleled traction in downhill applications.
