Designed for fast climbing and maintaining control on descents, the Mavic Cosmic SLR 32s are ideal for endurance road bikes on mountainous routes.

Its 32 mm UST UD carbon fiber rim features a 21 mm internal width to accommodate tires starting at 25 mm. The Adaptive Layup construction lightens the rim by reinforcing only the stressed areas, while the Fore Carbon spoke-to-rim connection keeps the upper rim intact for long-lasting airtightness without a rim tape.

The 24 aero spokes, laced in pairs, work with the Infinity hub and Instant Drive 360 freehub for direct power transfer. Mavic Ceramic bearings complete a package designed to ride hard, ride long, and conquer the peaks.

• Mavic Ceramic: Integration of high-precision ceramic balls for minimal friction, reducing friction by up to 28%. Beyond the figures, it is a feeling of fluidity that persists kilometer after kilometer, particularly noticeable on flat sections at high speed where inertia is preserved for longer.
• Smooth Acceleration: Due to its low weight inertia remains low, making changes in pace easier on climbs. Its 24 spokes provide noticeable stiffness when riding out of the saddle.
• FORE: The spokes are anchored directly into a metal insert integrated into the carbon weave, leaving the upper rim bridge intact, resulting in a rim that is 40% more torsionally rigid. On the road, this translates into a total absence of lateral blur during explosive accelerations. No rim base means eliminated risk of leaks, saved weight on the periphery, and easier tire mounting — the most reliable tubeless solution on the market.
