I've wanted a radar system for my bicycle for quite a while but couldn't afford to buy a new headpiece. A very positive review in the "Road Bike Rider" e-newsletter informed me that Lezyne had a system that coupled a rear light/radar unit with a front light/warning system ng the need for a new companion GPS unit. After two additional YouTube reviews, an instructional video by Lezyne and a timely discount from BikeTiresDirect, I made my decision and ordered the unit.
I ride mostly in the mornings, sometimes during rush-hour. Although I always use hand signals to show my intentions to change lanes, drivers all too often take it as a signal to rush ahead, scaring the Hell out of me! My new radar unit lets me know if there are any speeding drivers encroaching behind me, taking the fear out of my left turns.
I heartily recommend this radar system for any cyclist who rides the roads.
