Lake Men's CX400L-X Wide Lace Road Cycling Shoe

Description

Race-Ready Carbon, Classic Laces

The Lake Men's CX400L-X Wide builds on the foundation of the CX400, delivering the same race-driven carbon platform and performance fit with a traditional lace closure. Built on Lake's Race last, it balances pro-level stiffness, stability, and anatomical support with the timeless adjustability of laces. Note that it can't be heat molded.

Features:

• Race Last: A slightly narrower toe box and tighter heel than Lake's Competition last, with less overall volume than the Sport last, designed for very high-cadence riding with a slimmer fit.
• Carbon Fiber Sole: Engineered for stiffness where needed and controlled flex where comfort is critical, it adapts to the rider's foot shape for race-level power transfer with long-ride comfort straight out of the box.
• Monocoque Construction: The upper wraps an integrated carbon sole and heel counter, the same construction as Lake's CX403, with engineered flex at the heel.
• Clarino Microfiber Upper: Strategically placed perforations keep it lightweight and breathable while it holds its structure under load.
• Traditional Laces: An integrated keeper provides secure retention and precise fit adjustment, with even tension across the foot and long-lasting stability.
• Cleat Compatibility: 3-bolt road cleats.
• Width: Wide.
• Sizing: If you're between sizes, Lake suggests sizing up 0.5 to 1 size.
