The Lake CX190 blends the adjustability and styling of Lake's higher-end road shoes with everyday fit and comfort, using the Sport Last to balance efficient pedaling performance with long-ride comfort for riders who want advanced performance without sacrificing all-day wearability.

The CX190 offers a balanced, traditional fit that sits between narrow race shoes and high-volume comfort models. It provides a neutral shape designed to work across a wide range of foot widths and volumes. Microfiber uppers deliver consistent support and stability. Riders coming from other brands may notice a slightly wider platform designed to improve on-bike comfort and stability.

If you are between sizes or prefer additional room, consider sizing up 0.5–1 size.

Features:

• Last: CX/TX Sport – designed for higher cadence and longer ride times with excellent foot control to prevent hot spots and numbness; cradles the foot securely with a precisely fitted toe box, high arch, and mid-width ball girth to support the foot on every ride.
• Outsole: Lake nylon composite sole engineered to maximize stiffness in key power zones while maintaining controlled flex where comfort is needed, delivering efficient energy transfer with reduced fatigue; compatible with 3-bolt road cleats and tuned for an optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio.
• Upper: Lightweight microfiber combined with breathable mesh panels for a durable yet supple upper that resists stretch and holds its shape; mesh zones promote airflow and moisture management, while a wrap-around tongue stabilizes the midfoot, improves heel lock, and reduces unwanted movement for a secure, slip-free fit.
• Closure: Dual BOA® L6 dials providing independent adjustment over forefoot and instep; the two-zone system enables on-the-fly micro-adjustments for an even, pressure-free fit, with low-profile, impact-resistant dials designed for real-world riding conditions.
