The Knog Road R70 Tail Light uses 4 LEDs shining at up to 70 lumens, providing rider visibility up to 1000 meters out. Its convenient design uses interchangeable rubber straps to mount onto a variety of round and aero seatposts without the need for tools or permanent mounting-fixtures. Side illumination grabs the attention of cross-traffic, and an integrated low-battery indicator signals the need for recharging, which is easily done using the built-in weatherproof USB plug to re-up the Road R70's lithium polymer battery.
Claimed weight is 52 g. Includes 3 silicone seatpost straps. Dimensions are 27 mm x 76 mm x 52 mm. IP68 waterproofness rating.

Light Type: Rechargeable
Perfect tail light for me. Plenty bright for my urban commute and I only need to recharge it once a week or so. And this thing is amazingly waterproof. Friend told me it would work underwater, so I turned it on and put it in a pint glass. It looked cool so I left it in there blinking for a whole day, no problem. Maybe I should get a hobby...
I can certainly say that I have noticed a difference with most drivers as they pass me. The battery holds a charge typically that will last about 6 hours. The light attaches on the seat post very easily and I feel confident that it will be there when my ride is over. Good job Knog!
I can hear the drivers ease off the gas as they approach. Im not saying it will save my life but it does contribute to visibility and most drivers have more time to consider their passing options on narrow mountain highway climbs.
I recently purchased the Knog Blinder Road R70 Tail Light, unfortunately the unit I received was defective and I'm waiting for a replacement. Hopefully the new one will work as advertised.
