Helpful, probably
I'm sure it gives some protection in case the Edge falls, but it doesn't feel too reassuring. Rather thin. On the other hand, it fits and the buttons in the Edge are easy to use through the covering.

Good looking but loose fitting bumper case w/Garmin logo
I wish this bumper case would be as tight fitting as it is good looking. The edges tend to move out of place every now and then, to stay out of place due to the grip of silicone material it's made of. Overall 3 stars.

Not Convienant
The buttons on the Garmin 1050 are stiff or hard to push and the silicone case makes them even more so. I find myself not using the case because of that. If I had to do it over, I would not purchase this item.

Good protection, kind of bulky
It's a good case, easy to put on and it provides ample protection for an expensive bike computer. However, it is a bit bulky so I only use it when I go off-road.

Changing color
I ordered my Garmin 1040 with a red cover to match my Pinarello bike but the red was never a great match so when I changed bar tape I decided to try the black cover and it really set things off. I am satisfied.
