The Fizik Aeris Long Distance R1 Light is a lightweight, split-nose triathlon saddle featuring EVA padding and carbon rails, engineered to enhance support and stability in aggressive, aerodynamic riding positions.

Developed together with the sport's leading experts and riders, this saddle is engineered to support time-trialists and triathletes in the most extreme aerodynamic riding positions over greater distances. In this latest, Light iteration, Aeris LD combines comfortable EVA padding with a stiff carbon rail and carbon-reinforced nylon shell.

Features:

• R1 Light Construction: Combines a carbon-reinforced nylon shell with ultra-stiff carbon rails for a responsive, lightweight platform. Injected EVA padding delivers low-profile, reactive cushioning that maintains comfort and support without sacrificing ergonomic shape or increasing thickness.
• The Science of Comfort and Speed: The Long-Distance version of Aeris features a split-nose construction. The independent halves of the nose allow for an unprecedented pressure-relief system while maintaining the firm support and balance needed for long hours in aero positions. The rail loop at the nose provides strength against asymmetrical fatigue and acts as a hook to hold the bike in place in race transition zones.
• Supporting Tri Riders: Injected EVA foam padding is thicker on the nose where triathletes spend most of their time, and slimmer on the ischial bones for a firmer feel when rising from the aero position. A grippy surface texture ensures a no-slip hold to minimize unwanted movement.
• Multiple Features for Mixed Disciplines: Compatible with an optional link to integrate a water bottle cage to the rear of the saddle, positioned to stay clear during transition zone mounting and dismounting. UCI-compliant rail insertion allows a broad range of adjustability for achieving an ideal forward aero position.
