Highly effective and very clean under benign conditions

This is the only chain lube I use anymore, and I use it year-round. The caveat is that probably 23 of my 4000 or so miles each year are indoors, on a trainer. So, environmental conditions aren't very challenging, compared to those who ride in drydustywetmuddy conditions outside. The reason I love it for indoors is that it doesn't spatter off and throw black streaks all over my trainer or the mat beneath it, like several other chain lubes have done in the past (even after a wipe down upon every application). My chains have lasted much longer than expected, as confirmed by my handy-dandy chain tool, so I think this product does a fine job of extending chain life.

Best stuff for dry climates

Finish Line Dry Teflon-Plus is my go to lube for the dry climate here in Colorado. This is the cleanest running longest lasting chain lube I have found for dry sometimes dusty conditions. It holds up OK in wet conditions but if I were riding constantly in rain I'd look for a longer lasting alternative. BTD has the best price on this stuff especially on sale. I do not like the child proof top they instituted a recently because I have had tops fail before the lube was used up.

Great lube for dry and dusty riding

Really smooth lube that goes on easily and doesn't attract a lot of road grime. Very easy to clean. Highly recommended for dry, dusty conditions.

Works great in drier conditions, no black spray off around trainer

First off, I probably log 80% of my 3,000-3,500 annual miles indoors on a trainer, so I'm not exposing the drivetrain to really challenging weather (other than the 95% humidity of the pain cave in a longer session). In those admittedly benign conditions, I really like this product. Many others, namely ceramic-based lubes, have produced a black liquid splatter after some use that eventually makes its way off the cassette and chain onto my trainer and the surrounding area, which is no good. This stuff works and keeps the area clean, as far as I can tell.

Dry Teflon-Plus Lube

I live in the Seattle, WA area and ride year around in all weather conditions, Dry Teflon lubricant works as advertised. I clean my chain about every 200 miles, (2 weeks of riding) then dry the chain and apply Dry Teflon lube. Quality product! You won't regret putting Dry Teflon lube on your bike chain.

This is lube

This is my standard day-to-day lubricant. I re-apply it every week or so, depending on the weather. Keeps things quiet and slick. It's very low viscosity, so it can be a challenge to get hard to reach areas without making a huge mess.

it just works - stays on

Tried several different types - prefer this one because it stays on the chain and doesn't fly off and make a mess

Excellent Lube For Dry Dusty Climate

This is my lube of choice because here in Colorado our climate is mostly dry. It will hold up to wet conditions too but there are probably better lubes if it rains all the time where you are. Most of our local bike shops recommend Finish Line Dry but BTD has the best price.

As advertized

Doesn't last as long as other wet lubes I've used. Drive train is very quiet for first ride after application.

It works!

My bike shop recommended this lube for our high humidity here in Houston. I use it on my road and mountain bikes. It seems to perform well and I have no plans to use another brand.

Quiet and clean chain

Switched to this dry lube from the wet version to keep my chain cleaner. Seems to work well but be careful when applying because it will drip. Put towels or rags under the chain. After several hundred miles of commuting in the winter months in the northwest I haven't had any chain noise or problems.

Great lube without the mess

I'm a cycling enthusiast who also happens to like tinkering with and cleaning bicycles. Since I've switched to this lube I've found out that the chains on my bikes have been much easier to maintain and shifting seems to be smoother. Another plus is that my office pants have stayed free of spatter stains from oil based lubes. You owe it to yourself to give it a try.

works great, helps keep chain clean.

This is a great lubricant for serious road biking. It is thin and penetrates well. The thin lubricant helps loosen up grime when it first goes on and so serves as a modest cleaner when I wipe off the excess. Most of it then evaporates leaving a lubricating film without leaving too much of a build-up. Every 100 miles I wipe the chain with a cloth, apply lube, spin crank, then wipe off the excess. My chain life has increased 50% at least (maybe doubled) with this program.

The dropper tip doesn't allow great control of the application volumes so too much sometimes comes out if you are not careful.
