The meaning of the term 'all-mountain bike' is changing every day. To some it's sled racing enduros on the weekends, to others it's a hardtail ripping through endless singletrack. No matter how you define it, the AM30 is a best-in-class wheel for all over the mountain.
The 27.5-inch AM30 is for the rider looking to up the performance and capability of their all-mountain, trail, enduro, do-everything, whatever-you-want-to-call-it bike. They likely find themselves in a variety of situations: all-day backcountry epics, after-work laps, smashing out the local tech-trail, and even competing between the tape. They want efficiency on the uphill, confidence and compliance in the rough, and snappiness through the corners.

With a unique shape and ride-tuned, the AM30 balances compliance and vibration damping for all-day comfort, while retaining quick cornering, acceleration, and gravity-rated strength. Offset spoke holes balance spoke tensions to help preserve the wheel's quickness and the spoke's integrity - despite the rim's additional compliance.
Pinch-Flat Protected.
The AM30 helps to prevent pinch flats and ruined rides with ENVE's patent-pending Wide Hookless Bead. The Wide Hookless Bead dissipates impact energy preventing the rim from slicing the tire. This means you can pick the tires, casings, and pressures you want to run, instead of letting the fear of flats dictate these important decisions for you.
Strong, Light and Maintenance-Free.
ENVE has expanded its patented process of molding spoke and valve stem holes to include external spoke holes and nipples. Because carbon fiber gets its strength from continuous fibers, they route the fibers around the holes without cutting them which increases the strength of each spoke hole and reduces the likelihood of frequent truing. Additionally, by molding the spoke and valve stem holes, ENVE's rims achieve a greater strength to weight ratio.

FREE Cassette Installation - Order a cassette along with a wheelset and we can install the cassette for free. Cassette installation requires special tools that not all our customers have. The cassette will be professionally installed and torqued to spec. Just add "Please install cassette" to your order notes at checkout and we'll take care of you.
B-Stock - This product has one or more B-Stock units available. These units can be purchased at a discount (see option select).
