Whether you're hitting the gym or out conquering the climbs, a day of hard work takes a toll on your body. Your muscles need protein to recover and rebuild.
A Clif Builder's Bar gives you 20 grams of soy and nut proteins in a delicious, dipped double-decker snack. And unlike other protein bars, Clif Builder's Bars have no trans fats or hydrogenated oils. They're a crispy, tasty way to power your workout.
Clif Builder's Bars are sold in boxes of 12. Choose from various flavors.

Not Bad
Almost 'food-like'. If you are going for 6 or more hours, one of these will satisfy certain hungers other bars can not. They can be overly tar consistency, and the chocolate coating melts in summer.

Another Bar With Seed Oils
Another bar loaded with seed oils. Seed oils are highly inflammatory and are toxic in your body over time. Do your research the facts are there and you will be shocked. We as consumers need to stand up and start demanding better quality food. Hard Pass

Great post-ride snack
I eat Clif Builder Bars after rides and workouts. Having protein directly after strenuous workouts helps build muscle. Builder bars are a convenient source for that protein and they taste pretty good, too. I like cookies and cream.

Kind of heavy, not sure that I like them
I've been trying various types of protein bars to try and maximize my recovery after longer rides (4 hours) and moderate hikes (6-8 hours) and find the Clif version kind of heavy compared to some others I've tried. The texture is pretty much what you'd expect from a protein bar, and the taste is ok, but I have trouble getting through a whole bar without my stomach feeling like it'll explode.

Good taste, high protein
These bars taste pretty good--not as sweet as a candy bar--and are mostly real food. I'm personally fond of the Cookies N Cream flavor.
