The A. Dugast Small Bird TLR Cyclocross Tire is a great option on courses with mixed conditions where it might get a bit slippery.

Starting with the rubber, a double compound gives the tire most of its excellent grip. On the tread the outer studs are twice as high as the studs in the middle. This combo of extremely soft lug rubber and aggressive lug placement result in extreme grip in the turns. And because of the lower studs in the middle, the rolling resistance is still limited for all out speed when you need it. This tire is ultimately almost like a mix between A. Dugast's Rhino and Typhoon.
