Description

Grab Your Race By The Horns

The A. Dugast Rhino Tubular Cyclocross Tire is a competition tire for mud courses, featuring a tread with extreme high studs for excellent grip.

Because of the design of the tread, it clears mud easily to keep you upright and rolling. However that open structure still manages to provide low rolling resistance.

This hard charging tire is available with two casings to suit your needs. A 100% cotton casing with 536 TPI offers increased puncture resistance, more elasticity, lower rolling resistance and better handling in corners. Flying Doctor casing is made of 87.5% cotton and 12.5% kevlar with 402 TPI. It's lighter than regular cotton casing with more resistant sidewalls against sharp edges. This casing remains steady in the most extreme corners even at low pressures.

A Neoprene Coating made from a 0.1 mm-thick layer of silicon applied with a brush to the tire casing fills the empty spaces in the yarn. This coating prevents water and debris from penetrating the casing and extends their lifetime.

11Storm Rubber

This tire is available with a new, softer rubber mix called "11Storm." This rubber has a lower rolling resistance, more grip and increased comfort. A. Dugast put over 2 years of testing into this compound and now it can be yours.

A. Dugast is the leading brand in cotton and silk tubular tires for cyclocross, track, and road racing. A. Dugast tires are handmade in the Netherlands by true craftsmen of bicycle tires. Through their expertise, yarns, glue and rubber are assembled to create some of the finest tubulars available in the market.
