I'm bald and trim what little hair I have I cut short. It's easy to get sun burn through the vents in typical helmets and sunscreen runs into your eyes. A skull cap is a must and this one works great. I previously purchased the version without the visor and purchased this one when it came on sale. Does wearing a skull cap make your head hot? Not at all, I soak it in water before a hot ride and keep it wet during the ride. The evaporation keeps my head cool, better than no cap at all. The visor extends over the top of my sunglasses and reduces glare especially in the early morning or late evening.

Just got my Giro Aries Spherical MIPS Road Helmet and couldn't be happier with it! This was my first time trying the Aries model, and I have to say ' it exceeded expectations.
Fit & Comfort:
Right out of the box, the fit was spot-on. The helmet is incredibly light and well-ventilated, which made a noticeable difference on long rides. The retention system keeps everything secure without pressure points, and the padding feels premium.
Safety & Tech:
The Spherical MIPS system gives me peace of mind. It's great knowing I've got that extra layer of protection without sacrificing comfort or weight. Giro nailed it here ' it's impressive how advanced the protection is without adding bulk.
Style & Build:
Looks sleek, feels high-end, and the build quality is top-notch. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design.
Deal & Purchase:
I picked it up from BikeTiresDirect at a great price, and the shipping was fast and hassle-free. They had one of the best deals I could find anywhere, and I'll definitely shop with them again.

My second Agilis helmet. I have both a large and medium size and usually wear the medium except in winter. My head is a between size with a circumfrence of 23 inches/ 58.5 cm. which is the high end of Giro's medium. I can fit a beanie under the large with room to spare. And a thin headband under the med. Definetly prefer the medium most of the year. I like this helmet's fit and finish, it looks akin to the 300 dollar ones at a third the price and only a 30 gram penalty over the Giro Aries, for instance . It's only slighlightly heavy due to it's construction with a tad more occipital coverage and a shell that wraps around the bottom of the styrofoam for durability chucking it around. It's comfortable for my headshape, oval and tallish forehead it sits well on my headshape.

Without this the great Giro Vanquish helmet is incomplete. Vision superior to glasses; magnetic mount works well both in normal use postion and upside down above the eyes as a storage postion. However, they are fragile. My most recent purchase is my third. And they're not cheap.
