Very few tires last so long that the tread is the first to go, after probably 1,000 + miles. With the tubeless setup I don't even notice when I get a thorn, and glass hardly creates a cut in the rubber.

I've been riding on 5k's for years and wouldn't use any other tire. Tried some, but always come back to continental. I especially like the puncture resistance and ease of mounting.

I can't imagine riding anything else on my road bike. Fast, supple, and plenty durable.

This wheel contributed greatly towards a smoother ride, on alloy or carbon. Unfortunately I've had three puncture flats in two months and will be switching to something else. I knew I was taking a risk. These are excellent as far as performance goes, so my advice would be to use in a specific situation and not expect it to commute well or withstand city roads for very long.

Won't buy anything else. Lasts 200 miles +. Hardly ever flat with these

Installed by weak hands on Zipp 303 Firecrest wheels. and only needed a little help with front wheel. Rear wheel inflated with hand pump. Front wheel needed the compressor. 32 mm tires inflated to 32mm. Running tubeless with 42 lbs front and 46 rear. I'm 150 lbs. Superior cornering The only negative is they aren't as compliant as other similar tires I have used.

I run 30mm 5k S TR at 60/65 pressure and they have loads of grip, roll fast & no punctures in over 2000 miles even though I regularly run over glass, pebbles & road debris.They are tough to mount but i use some sealant on the bead which allows them to slip on & seal up with a standard floor pump. The original GP 5k were great also, 15k & only 2 flats, 1 because I ran out of sealant.

Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR Road Tires are fairly easy to setup tubeless. Thay ride well, stable in corners and smooth on rougher pavement.

Won't buy anything else. Lasts 2000 miles +. Hardly ever flat with these

I ride on the road about 100 miles/week. I used to ride Gatorskins for their durability, but switched to tubeless about 6 months ago. After an initial failed set of Vittoria Corsa N.EXT tires, I installed a set of GP 5000 S TRs, and couldn't be happier. I ride these tubeless, on Shimano RS370s, at 63 psi. They're very grippy, fast rolling, comfortable, and durable. No leaks/sealing issues using Stan's. My favorite road tires.

I've been using GP 5000's tubeless for 5-6 years and the S TR since it became available. I've been getting around 5000 miles on each tire on rough pavement and occasional gravel. I like the feel, the grip and the rolling resistance at 65/70 seems as good or better than earlier versions.

Like these tires for a year, until my first flat! Tire sealed on the road and I was able to ride the remaining 10 miles home. It held air through the next day until I pumped it up to riding pressure. The sealant could not hold the air pressure and select came out. I then plugged the hole, which solved the problem, but there is a bump where the plug went in. To be safe I'll probably buy a new tire..

I love, love, love these tires. Fast and durable. Not one puncture (that I'm aware of) over several thousand miles. Great road feel and easy to mount on my DT Swiss wheels. FWIW I run these with Silca Ultimate sealant.

I did a recent race 60 miles, when I arrived I noticed everyone was was riding a gravel bike Turns out about 33 miles was gravel, I rode and completed the ride on the 28mm continental 5000 on Cadex hookless wheels at 63 psi ,not a single mark no flats zero problem well maybe one on 10% hill my tiers were spinning so much in the gravel I had walk part of the way up the hill in my road shoes.

This is a phenomenal tire. Amazingly efficient rolling resistance with no compromise when it comes to durability. The tires are incredibly hard to install, but the plus side is that the seal that is created when they are seated is so tight you could almost go without using sealant. Highly recommend these tires.

I finally wore past the indicators on my rear tire. It rolled 5,281 miles. Incredibly fast, incredibly durable, fantastic puncture protection, easy mounting.

$0.02 per mile for the fastest road tires a pleb can buy.

Smooth ride, durable, sticky. Ride as tubeless and while they require some skill to mount, they stay on. Hit a hole hard enough to bend an aluminum rim without deflating or unmounting.

Very good tire. Never had a problem. They last a long time. The one down side is, they are tubeless tires and are hard to get on.
