Too early to say how durable this will be over the long run. The one thing that stood out was how easy it was to get this seated on my tubeless rim - no sweat at all. Definitely not the case for the Vittoria Corsa tire it was replacing which was next to impossible for me to seat.
I have used similar Continental road tires for years with tubes, so I expect great results.

So far so good, these tires were recommended to me by a bike club member and I am happy I made the switch. Hoping to get some good mileage out of them.

I avg over 10,000 miles every year, these GP 5000 STR tires are far the best tires I've ever used.

For most things I'll have to trust the reviews from people who can take precise measurements, but I can say these tires were easy enough to mount and provide a nice smooth ride.

Plenty of other reviews out there on these two tires, but sadly BTD has co-mingled reviews of the original GP5000 TR tire with the current/improved GP5000 S TR. Beware and read other reviews that are not co-mingled to get a better read on the current tire.

best performance tires going right now. Breeze to setup tubeless and easy to mount.

I absolutely give these tires a 5 star rating. They are hands down the fastest, smoothest, and puncture resistant tubeless tires I have used. I was hesitant to make the jump to these tires, but after using them in Lotoja with no issues whatsoever I'm definitely a believer.

I went tubeless last year with the older style GP 5000 TLs, put well over 5000 miles on them with no problems at all. So far these new ones seem to be more of the same even better if that's possible.

Fast and comfortable. They wear fast tho.

Great tires, ,maybe not the best value but roll well and slick looking.

The rolling resistance of this tire is too grippy and slow. They are also bouncy over bumps in the road. My average speed is one MPH slower with these tires. The surface of the tire is rough not smooth like Schwalbe Pro ONE TLE 700c Road Tire (HS493). if I could afford to, I would remove them and install Schwalbe Pro ONE TLE. I find the Schwalbe Pro ONE TLE 700c Road Tire to be a faster with less bounce.

Very happy with this tire. Feels as fast subjectively as my turbo cottons, corners better. 28s set up easily tubeless on roval clx 50s and hold air well. Plumps up to about 29-30 measured, depending on your internal rim width.

Tried new Conti 5000 and side wall definitely under performs in puncture resistance. Half a dozen rides ?? pretty $$$. I felt nearly bullet proof on 4000's. Its either some really bad luck or these are just slow racing tires.

This is the last continental tyre I will purchase. I used gp4k clinchers for years, then went to gp5k tubeless which worked alright. You could find them for $65 bucks and I'd hope to get 2k miles out of them before too many cuts.
Now to have to purchase a $90 tyre and have it fail and not seal multiple times within the first 1000 miles. Nope. Off to a competitor.

This is a good quality road tire, though kinda pricey. I have used similar Conti clinchers in the past and this is consistent. Being tubeless, I found it rather difficult to install. Had to resort to one of those tire bead lever gadgets you see advertised. Without that, you better have big strong hands.

Got 4200 miles on the last GP 5000 TR rear tire, front looked like it still had quite a few miles left. I would rotate the tires if they weren't so difficult to mount.
Mounting was slightly easier than the GP 5000 TR, but some of that could be due to experience and making sure to do it on a nice warm day after leaving the tire in the sun.

I've been riding and doing most of my own bike maintenance for going on 28 seasons and I've never encountered a tire that was so difficult to mount. In fact, I never got it mounted. I tried both tires on 2 different HED wheels, but no dice. I spoke with the mechanic at my LBS and he said that they are that tight and are near impossible to get on/off. In the end I had to return them.

Frankly, I have given up trying to mount these. A lot of anguish and the effort to mount them even drew blood. What a waste of money!
I am a long time cyclist and not a rookie at putting tires on rims. This is not the first difficult time I've had with Continentals but even though the others were difficult this is the one I finally gave up on. I had to give it one star as zero isn't an option.
Can I have my money back?

Absolutely impossible to mount on Rovals. Literally, will not go on. Tried everything including a tire jack and heating the tire. Took it to LBS; couldn't do it, either. Would give it zero if I could since it's useless.

This is my first set of tubleless tires and so far I love them. Ride is smooth and no more having to change a flat out in the cold weather
